The obvious question
Your system doesn't depend on one person.
Every system I build is set up so a competent developer who has never seen it before can take it over in a day — not because they're clever, but because everything they need is written down, versioned and kept current.
That isn't a promise made in an emergency. It's how the work is done every single day.
Four guarantees
What is true of every project.
Code lives in version control
Every project — including yours — is in a private Git repository with full history. Nothing exists only on a laptop, or only in someone's head.
Documentation is kept current
Each project carries a live status file and machine-readable working notes, updated after every session: where it runs, how to deploy it, what's in progress, and what to watch out for.
Standard, mainstream hosting
Systems run on managed cloud hosting, mainstream databases and ordinary DNS. No exotic setup that only one person can operate.
Named people, standing instructions
Two named people hold standing instructions and know where access lives. They can hand your source code, documentation and accounts to you or to a successor developer.
If you can't reach me
Two people, briefed for exactly this.
If something needs attention and there's any delay reaching me directly, contact either of them.

What they can do for you
An orderly handover, to whoever you choose.
Sannette and Amber can put you in direct contact with your project's source code and documentation, arrange a handover to a developer of your choosing, and make sure hosting and domain accounts end up in your hands. Your system, your data, your accounts — that has been the arrangement from day one.
You hired one developer, but you were never betting on one heartbeat.
